Some creators have asked how we’re able to offer no chargebacks! 🚫 Our chargeback protection is twofold. First, all payments on MintStars are in USDC (US Dollar Coin), a stable crypto coin equal to a dollar, which is 100% backed by real US dollars. Crypto payments cannot be reversed once made, so chargebacks on content purchases are impossible. Second, a few people have rightly pointed out that it’s still possible to issue a chargeback on the fan’s initial card purchase of USDC. Our card processor provides guaranteed full chargeback protection in exchange for a small additional fee. They also use advanced fraud detection software to identify and block possible stolen cards. We hope this provides creators some reassurance and peace of mind - scammers are not welcome on MintStars 🙅‍♀️
