Purely coincidental that within days of questioning the validity of what is being reported as the third largest card sale ever, my X account was both temporarily hacked, and the presumed seller changed his IG photo to match mine here.
No one who has been on the selling end of 2 of the 3 largest sports card sales (which have both occurred in the past 2 years) would be as vindictive/childish. It just wouldn’t happen ever. It’s like buying a card in a private transaction and getting the corrupt/out of business @CollectableApp to hold a press conference for you while you token monetize 1% of it (a month ahead of selling the second largest card ever).
Makes you wonder about the Honus sale as well no?

Your data is apples to oranges. The data you show for the 2016 to 2020 period is enumeration for all immigrants in ALL forms. The data we showed in our slide last night in Wisconsin was just Enumeration Beyond Entry ("EBE") immigrants. The difference is Enumerations at Field Offices. These have remained stable at about 1 mln/year excluding COVID. We focused just on EBE because it ramped as a direct result of growth in the various asylum programs.
Your chart mixes the two categories: showing all immigrant Enumerations from 2016 thru 2020 and EBE only from 2021 to 2024.
Here is the chart back to 2019 for Enumeration Beyond Entry which is when the EBE basically started.
I want to thank the good people at the Social Security Administration for their expert help. We would not have been able to understand this complex system without them. There are many terrific people at SSA serving their fellow citizens. We are very grateful.

Looks like they’re moving the card under various @ebay seller handles , and due to it being a vault card, there are no fees involved. Allows them to put a floor in.
Will take a closer look at other certs and it might be worth looking at other items these sellers have listed.

So while your hobby heroes lament that a Nolan Ryan patch auto sells for a rounding error of what a Paul Skenes debut patch card will end at, they’re missing the real takeaway. ..which is that the next generation’s care more about the present than the past.
