Let’s talk about what we've got cooking at Lock-On! To start off, as we announced earlier our Care Package drops August 12th! This was a project inspired by several people asking for a way to display and store their Lock-On coins. After tossing around ideas, only one made sense for our community: a mouse stand that doubles as a coin holder. Huge shoutout to @ILL_creations for pouring months of work into crafting these — they look incredible in person, with some sick embroidery and detail all over. This collab hits close to home, as we’re always about supporting creators in the community. We’re happy to support ILL and hope you guys will see the quality we put into the package as a whole! There’s also some bonus stuff in the Care Package we’ll discuss soon so stay tuned for a separate post on that. Now for the big one: New Pads. Yes, we’ve been cooking. Delays from tariffs gave us extra dev time (silver lining?), and we’ve been deep in testing, tweaking, and refining several samples and really close to locking in some absolute bangers. We’ve got 4 surfaces in the works: - V2 Control/Balanced Glass Pad - Speed Glass Pad - Smooth Balanced Cloth Pad - Unique Hybrid Speed Cloth Pad (you’ll see what we mean 👀) As you may know we’re a small team of 3, so we can’t fund multiple releases at once. After some thought we decided to focus on launching a glass pad next. Still deciding which one as we’re seeing strong support for both options, so let us know what you want to see drop first! Design is already wrapped up, teasers coming soon 🔥 We’re also exploring a TRUE control-oriented glass pad, for those wanting that high friction feel without losing the benefits of glass. Still in the works as it requires more dev time. We’ve got more ideas not pad related brewing as well! Nevertheless, we want to apologize for not moving out on items as fast as we could be since we’re all balancing full-time work.
