Product Updates and Development Blog Post We've been quiet lately, but we're back with some exciting updates and insights into our future product developments. Dark Chaos: Progress Update We want to start by expressing our gratitude for your patience during our recent Pre-Order phase. We understand that there have been delays, but we're happy to announce that our new packaging is now complete. Our factory is gearing up for product packing, and we anticipate receiving Dark Chaos and The Empress in mid to late October. We apologize for the extended production times and are committed to improving this aspect in the future. TOD + TOD V2: Evolving Product Development Our best selling product, Temple of Dreams, has received an overwhelming response. We've received numerous emails and inquiries about its return. We're thrilled to inform you that we're actively developing both Temple of Dreams and its highly anticipated sequel, TOD V2. TOD Remaster: an upgraded version with improved stitching, a new Soft Branded Base, smoother surface feel, and the same original surface texture. Available in XL and XXL sizes. TOD V2 aka The "Crucible" is our most developed project of this year, we created 10 different variations of this product to ensure the best quality. This surface is one of the most unique surfaces available on the market. This is a HUGE risk for us considering the large MOQ requirements for this project. We could have went the Artisan Cloning route which is much safer for us, but we wanted to drop a polarizing surface for the community. What can you expect? The Crucible, our fastest pad to date, featuring a custom branded MID base and a major upgrade in print technology that truly brings out the beauty of the new artwork. The Crucible will be available in XL and XXL as well. Currently, we have approximately 10 products in the development pipeline, and we've just unveiled two of them. Product Development Progression Update! We wanted to provide some updates and share some insights into our upcoming products. I apologize in Advanced this is a long one! Firstly, our upcoming speed cloth mousepad "Crucible" should finish production 12/29. We will be stocking this product in XL and XXL across many vendors around the globe. We are unsure if we will do a pre-order or not. Once the shipment is on its way to us, we'll provide further updates. We also have been developing a smooth balanced pad. This pad is unique in its own way, but should be welcoming by most people with its very consistent surface. This is our second in house designed surface and has been one of our favorites on the market currently. TFW V2 has been on our radar for a long time now, and have made tons of revision samples. We are still working hard on getting the perfect unique surface feel, but more time is needed. All of these surfaces are designed in house and produced by a 3rd Party Textile Factory in Taiwan. This allows us to have full control on the fabrics and keep exclusivity of our fabrics. We also have finished development on our XSOFT base. We hope to offer MID and XSOFT options on all of our surfaces in the future. The Crucible will only have MID on launch but if the surface is popular we will release XSOFT too. All of our bases have the same branding on them as well! Lastly, a quick update on our Temple of Dreams Remastered. We are hoping production will finish in January and should be sent to our location and respective vendors. This will be offered in a custom XL PU base and XXL Rubber Base. Our Striker Series Glass Mousepads "The Empress" is getting a restock very soon and we expect stock to arrive early February. This will remain the same purple colorway and Balanced surface feel. "Blue Empress: Speed" is a new version of the striker series, this version is designed in house to offer a faster option to our line up. This will be the same quality as the original empress but with a DURABLE coating to decrease its friction. This resulted in a new manufacturing process that increased prices significantly. We will only be increasing the retail price slightly for our audience though! Thank you to everyone for all the support this year! This roadmap only covers our plans for mousepads, but we have many exciting products in the pipeline beyond just mousepads. Stay tuned for more updates!

We have some bad news regarding The Empress Drop. After inspecting the shipment, nearly all glass mousepads have a defect of some sort. Roughly 95% of the stock has silicone bubbling which leaves a undesired air pockets under the silicone base. We decided to open a poll to our community whether we open the sale of these "C-D" stock units for a discounted price of $60. or we don't open the presale and wait for a fixed batch to come in. We will say this fixed batch could take a few months and Padsmith as a whole would have to pause any immediate releases planned.
