I try to compare the similarity and differences between them.
Here is a thread of my 2 cents:
1. Similarities between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Winston Churchill:
Both men were unlikely leaders who rose to the occasion in a time of crisis. Zelenskyy was a comedian and actor before becoming president of Ukraine, while Churchill was a journalist and historian before becoming prime minister of the United Kingdom.
Both men were gifted orators who used their words to inspire their people and rally international support. Zelenskyy has given numerous speeches since the start of the war, many of which have been praised for their eloquence and passion. Similarly, Churchill's speeches during World War II are considered to be among the greatest in the English language.
Both men were willing to stand up to powerful dictators, even when the odds were stacked against them. Zelenskyy has refused to leave Ukraine or surrender to Russia, despite the fact that Russian forces are much larger and better equipped. Churchill famously led Britain through the darkest days of World War II, when Nazi Germany was on the march.
Both men are regarded as symbols of freedom and democracy. Zelenskyy has become a global icon for his defiance of Russian aggression, while Churchill is remembered as one of the greatest defenders of liberty in history.
