The Dogon people have records of the orbit of Sirius B around Sirius A going back several hundreds of years.
It was discovered by astronomers in 1862, and the Dogon's passed-down orbital records are correct.
The only difference from what we have confirmed in modern times is they also show a 3rd companion star, not (yet?) detected by modern astronomers.
The Dogon don't claim to have discovered this knowledge themselves, but that it was passed down through countless generation, given to them by their amphibious "fish-man god", who came from the stars.
Disclaimer: this is all from memory from books I read 30 years ago, though it has me wanting to dig back into it!
