Girl Dad, Husband, Professional Poker Player. #1 in Tournament Winnings for 2025 💰Former #1 Ranked Tournament Player in the 🌎

Las Vegas, NV
Emotional win. I really came from nothing. This win is for all those people out there working everyday to get by. They ask me a lot what is it like to be battling against the best players in the world. All I can think about is the fact that the best player in the world is sitting behind a desk or putting on a roof somewhere. I say this because if it weren’t for a few life events going certain ways for me I never would have even had a chance to pursue this career. Forever grateful for these experiences and the support from fans all over the world! Poker is a beautiful game that hasn’t even hit the tip of the iceberg yet for potential growth! Hoping I can be a catalyst to help it!🦍🇺🇸❤️
Jesse Lonis is unstoppable. Just days after capturing his first Triton title in Montenegro, he returns to the winner’s circle once again, this time as the Main Event champion. @JesseLonis takes down Event #10 $100K NLH at Triton Poker SHRS Montenegro 2025, earning $3,446,298 and cementing his place among the game’s elite. Two titles. One series. A breakout run that won’t be forgotten. @wpt_global @GTOWizard @_Jacobandco #BetACR

I finally climbed Mt. @BinWeng88. This is special to me more than most accolades. This was a main goal of mine when I started playing tournaments 4 years ago. Not many people in poker know my early life was very difficult. My father was in prison most of my childhood and my mother was an alcohol/drug addict who I only got to meet twice before she passed away when I was 17. There was a lot of points in my teenage years where I was close to prison/death, statistically speaking that was the path most in my situation end up taking. When I found tournament poker the beauty of it to me was that no matter how rich or poor or what background you come from we all start with the same stack and have to fight the same field to win. I always said no one will ever beat me if that's the case. People always ask me what do I do different that makes me win and there's no answer. I'm a product of my environment, all the things that I went through molded me into the player/man I am today. Diamonds are made from pressure, and the pressure I felt as a child I don't wish on my worst enemy, but it's the reason I am where i am today. #MambaMentality

Morning thoughts: I sit here in Cyprus getting treated like a king. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with a breathtaking view. I ask myself why do I show off this lifestyle that 99% of people will never get to live. Is it for pleasure, memories or something else. I’ve come to the realization that it stems from childhood trauma. Some of the most clear memories I have are being picked on for things I couldn’t control. Having kids pick on you for wearing the same outfits over and over. I would always try and get picked up at a different location from others because I was embarrassed of the vehicle I was in. Having kids tell you they weren’t allowed to come to your house or even hangout with you. In hindsight I’m glad for these situations because it turned me into a killer mentally. I knew I had to out perform anyone around me in every other area to make up for this. I always wanted to be the funniest, the most athletic, the hardest worker, etc. It’s not a fluke that I’ve dominated poker for the last 4 years. We are all products of our environment. The road I had to walk to get to where I’m at was not easy. So I will continue showing off this lifestyle proudly knowing I earned every sweet second of it! Also to show anyone out there that is struggling now that they can make it here. Stay positive, determined and treat others the way you want to be treated. Always be your authentic self. 🦍 out.

Sick/Funny spot this summer. I win a bet off @harrington25 from the main event. He pays me out in Paris casino chips. The next day I go to reg the 50k and it's 11:48 I'm in line trying to buyin with them and they deny me because I can't verify chips. Mind you there's a hard cutoff if you're not in line by 12:00, which is usually a 7 min walk! So now it's 11:50 most people just give up at this point. I full speed sprint to my truck in sandals looking like a mad man, Grab 50k, sprint back to the line. The lady starts running my money through the machine well they're printing the ticket(she saved me) I get my ticket printed out at 11:58. I sprint again from the Paris reg line all the way over to the max late line in horseshoe. I make it over in the line with 2 seconds on the clock! I'm sweating bullets and my feet are blistered from sprinting in sandals. @ChinoRheem is max late regging, says "Jesse wanna swap a %5 ball with your boy!" I hit him with the hard no! Sorry Chino😂 I end up chopping the tourney for $1,600,000. Moral of the story if I was a quitter I would have been in my truck on the way home looking at updates. Instead I just put a little more effort and got in the fucking tourney! 🦍

17 years old living in the Bronx, playing basketball. One of the worst areas in NYC, but had the most competitive basketball games. Guy on other team starts a fight with me over physical play. He squares up swings at my 3 times. I swing once and knock him out cold. I proceed to get jumped by 4-5 MS13 gang members. Bleeding from both ears and swollen eye i get up grab the ball and throw it at the dude and say check ball. Finished the game with a W. Every time I went back those dudes would always try picking me on there time. Yelling “I got the crazy white boy.” Feels like a lifetime ago. Photo from the place below 👇🏻 Van Cortland Park. People ask me how do you handle the pressure in poker. Poker ain’t pressure this is pressure.

Some mornings I wake up and can feel an unexplainable tingling sensation. I feel completely in the zone and know I’m gonna dominate the day. I’m very spiritual and believe I have angels looking over me. I always take this time to close my eyes and give thanks to my mother and grandmother who are no longer with us. When I’m in big poker moments I always try and connect with them before and just ask for their blessing. Reassuring them that I will do everything in my power to perform. In these moments it feels like it’s just me and them and there’s really not a more comforting feeling for me.

So just wanna warn people don't do any business with Jake/Jacob Ferro. I backed him for tournaments and found out he was telling me he was playing the event just to find out he was pocketing the money to gamble elsewhere. I was giving him money to pay his life bills already which makes it more fucked up. I know he's screwed over a lot of people in the past. Tried giving him another chance, but if he would do this to me he will do it to anyone. I will give updates every month or so if tries to pay anything back. Sucks I have to do this but don't want anyone else getting scammed by him.

Just had the coolest experience in a @Uber ride. Older man named Albert picks me up after a few minutes I ask him where he’s from. This led to the most unexpected conversation. Albert was an Arabic man who moved to the United States when he was 19. He then served in the army after living here a few years. Then in 2007 when he was in his 50s the military reached out to him because they needed Arabic speaking people to translate in Iraq that had previous military experience. I asked him if he had any cool stories from his experience. He then tells me how he worked with Seal team 3 and Seal team 5 and assisted them on assignments. That’s when he tells me a bad ass story. They had an extract mission where they had to go in the middle of some Iraq city that was a hotspot for enemy soldiers. They used a local taxi for disguise and the whole seal team dressed up in enemy clothing and he drove the taxi well blaring Arabic music to blend in. They stop at a taxi stand in town center and he pulls up to a man and asks him if he knows the guy they are looking for. He bribes him with money and the guy gives him the location. They drive to the location and the commander tells him to go knock and tell them they have something important for the man. A older lady answers and he asks if her son is the man and that he had something important to give him. The lady says yes but he’s asleep. So he goes back out to the car and tells the seal team they all go back together. He knocks again when the lady answers the door they all storm in there. The commander grabs the terrorist and says “we got you now motherfucker.” They then put a mask over the guys head and take them back to the military base. Then they interrogate him. The guy was not giving up info. The commander pulls out a Rambo knife and puts it up to his finger. The terrorist still will give no info. Then the commander starts cutting his finger once he got halfway the guy started squealing and gave up info on a lot of higher Important terrorist. They end up turning the terrorist over to the Iraq national army. A week later, he said, the guy was found in the desert killed. Albert then took out his phone and showed me pictures of him with Navy seals and a bunch of pictures from his time over there. I couldn’t hold this story in felt like it should be shared with everyone. Just another reason to never judge a book by its cover. Old man, Albert is a bad motherfucker, and you would never know. When I arrived to my house, I couldn’t help but get out and give this man a hug. I felt honored for him to share this experience with me. He said America gave him a safe place to raise his four children and to get married and he would never think twice about doing it again if he had to. God bless America. ❤️🇺🇸

No trolling lol I've always believed if thousands of people are studying the same thing how much of an edge can it really be. I think the big edges come in exploiting and knowing how you're perceived and what the other people think you perceive them as. Knowing how to switch gears depending on the stage of the tournament is another big skill that is underutilized. Thats all I got for today. I could go on til im purple in the face of different strategies lol I'll save them for when im getting paid to tell them. 🦍🥷

Wow being in the wealthiest part of Monte Carlo has been truly eye opening. These are definitely the top %1 of the top 1%. 3 Things I've realized: There are no artificial foods anywhere that I've seen. Everything is freshly made. The high end restaurants/cafe are all very cigarette friendly and 90% of the people smoke. In this simulation we live in money can indeed buy happiness and freedom. These people are so content with there materialistic items dictating there existence and pleasure. The joy they get showing off there high end clothes cars and accessories is very apparent. In closing I would just like to say the beauty of Monte Carlo is really unmatched I've went for longer walks and had more alone time here just walking and being connected with my inner soul and peace then anywhere I've been. In my heart maybe sooner than later I will move my family out of the United States and hopefully raise them in a place this majestic.

This @tritonpokerseries Jeju trip has been a rough one for me. Everyday I wake up ready for the moment though. I always say poker is easy compared to life. It may sound a little arrogant but it’s true. Long before I ever played a hand of poker as a professional, life dealt me some impossible starting hands. From an early age I dealt with true adversity. I only met my mother twice in my life after the age of 3. She suffered with demons from drugs and alcohol. My father who I love and respect was put into prison for most of my childhood. I was a go getter from a very early age. Not proud of it but started hustling from the time I was 12-13 years old. Not gonna get into to many details about that right now. Statistically speaking I was on the way to death or jail from a very young age. Thank the lord for my Grandmother. She’s my savior and I wouldn’t be here without her and my stepmother Laurie Jornov. Every time I sit at the poker felt it’s more than a game to me. It’s all my life experiences coming out in every decision I make. It’s not a fluke I never studied a hand of poker in my life and I can hang with the best players in the world. I was bred for high pressure situations and high stakes poker is exactly that. The most asked question I get is how do I separate myself from others and get asked if I can teach it to them. It’s impossible we are all one of ones. All we can do is strive to be the best version of ourselves. Time to win this $100,000 PLO main event. 🦍 out.

When I first started watching/playing poker more. I would go over to my friend @DolphinsFanz shed in the middle of the woods. We would play mini tournaments for like $5-20 each. We would watch clips of old cash games and watch tournaments with the best players in the world at that time. I would always tell him trust me bro I'll be the best in the world one day. He knew the drive I had in sports and life goals. So even though he thought I was a little crazy he knew I would at-least give it my all. Throughout my journey to the top I would always tell people I'm gonna be the best. Even when I was playing $400 tournaments or grinding 20/40- 40/80 limit Holdem with @RonnieBardah. Moral of the story i didn't get to the top by studying or taking the path most do. I did it by believing in myself and envisioning it before I was even in the process of the journey. If you don't believe in yourself how's anyone else gonna believe In you. It takes a confidence that can easily be mistaken for cockiness and delusion. Anyone who has made it to the pinnacle of there craft has to have this sort of drive. Thank you @meghanpxx for always believing in me before anyone else ever did. Never give up on your dreams even if at the time it may seem impossible. Just keep taking steps in the right direction and always believe in yourself! Over and out The American Gangster! 🦍🇺🇸

My daughter Harley my wife just sent me the video. She had more fun giving out candy than receiving. If this doesn't make you melt nothing will. Pure innocence and joy.

Then I will be on my way to Barcelona for the @PokerStars EPT event. Time to represent America the way the gorilla always does.🦍🇺🇸 Just win baby! - Al Davis 🩶🖤

In honor of the @WSOP 50k PLO, take a trip down memory lane when I knocked out every single player at the final table. I believe I knocked out around 40/200 runners that year on the way to $2,300,000. Many men I killed twice, @jeremyausmus and @ikepoker being two that I remember off the top of my head. This one was life changing for me for sure. It was my first $50,000 buyin and if I don’t win it everything in my high stakes career starts off different. This is when I knew I belonged with the elites of the game 🦍
