Today I served as the ground incident commander for the tragedy that occurred over the Potomac last night. In the midst of the difficulty, I served alongside so many professionals who honored the memory of all those involved. For the sake of families who are without their loved ones tonight, know that there was great care taken to honor you and yours. Every first responder, every military member, every law enforcement agency…everyone, knew that our role was to serve you.
