HyperStrategy is the first fully onchain protocol on HyperEVM designed to mirror the strategy of MicroStrategy, but with a singular focus: acquiring and looping as much $HYPE as possible.
To achieve this, HyperStrategy will launch an onchain Convertible Bond Protocol. Through this mechanism, HyperStrategy issues convertible bonds to participants who provide capital in USDT0. These bonds function as both a receipt and an agreement: if HyperStrategy's native token reaches a predetermined strike price in the future, the bonds convert into the token, granting the holder direct upside exposure. If the strike price is not reached by maturity, the participant simply reclaims their principal.
How Convertible Bonds Work:
Participants lend USDT0 to HyperStrategy in exchange for a bond, locking in a specific strike price.
If the market price of the native token surpasses the strike price upon maturity, the bond converts into the native token at the locked in rate.
If not, participants reclaim their USDT0.
Capital raised via bond issuance is not only used to acquire $HYPE but also deployed in DeFi protocols to generate yield. This yield is reinvested to accumulate even more HYPE. Further, the protocol uses HYPE holdings as collateral to borrow stablecoins, which are in turn used to buy additional HYPE, creating a continuous loop of accumulation and growth.

The strike price of a bond is a crucial number that determines if users get discounted $HSTR or refunded $USDT.
But how do we fairly calculate the price of a bond at maturity? Notably, in a decentralized and accurate way?
The answer is the Uniswap V3 Oracle.
Because we are deploying liquidity on @HyperSwapX (a uniswap fork) CL, we have access to the uniswap v3 oracle and we will be using the 30 minute TWAP price of $HSTR at bond maturity.
This is a very difficult TWAP to game. Our team or anybody else would have to push significant amounts of volume to manipulate the price.
Rest assured that our quants have thought through the most simple, but effective ways to ensure the bonds operate in a decentralized and fair manner!

Actually @Hyper_Strategy is and they just dropped their docs, which I studied so you don't have to.
Their goal is simple: acquire and loop as much $HYPE as possible. But how?
They'll issue convertible bonds:
• you buy a bond by locking USD for a set period
• at maturity, it checks if $HSTR is above or below the initial strike price
• if below, you get your USD back and if above, your USD converts into $HSTR at the strike price, giving you the token at a discount
This means as a bond buyer, you either break even or get discounted $HSTR, with no way to lose your money.
The flywheel? HyperStrategy uses the raised USD to buy $HYPE and farm it across HyperEVM DeFi. They reinvest the yield to accumulate even more $HYPE and create a continuous loop of accumulation and growth.
To kickstart their treasury, they're launching a raise on @daosdotworld and will open presale applications soon.

meaning i don't think they're going to cause the underlying shitcoins to sustainably outperform bitcoin, and their own shares are not going to sustainably outperform the bitcoin treasury companies
there is a fundamental misunderstanding in the market as to why the bitcoin treasury companies are (currently) doing well. it's not because they simply put bitcoin in the treasury. it's because they're tailing saylor.
saylor is the whale. everyone else is a fish. saylor established the flywheel over FIVE YEARS it didn't just happen one day. he has convinced the market that he can credibly out-raise everyone else, and also that he will never sell MSTR's bitcoin
that kickstarted a real fomo run on bitcoin. on the surface level, people look at it and think "oh it's a new meta, a new scam, a new ponzi, a new way for me to make money" and to some degree it's true, but it misses the point of what's really going on
what's really going on is that saylor convinced the entire market that if we let him, he's gonna buy all the bitcoins. unless someone else gets to them first, that's what he's going to do. the existence of such a buyer, who can actually credibly do what he says (maybe) is an entirely new phenomenon and never existed before in this market
so those who believe him, are now in a rush to buy as many bitcoin as they can as fast as they can. they believe him that they won't be able to do it later
such a buyer simply doesn't exist for ETH or SOL etc. and some maxi raising $500m to buy ETH simply doesn't change that. $500m is nothing. saylor literally does that in one week. it's immaterial
MAYBE if one of those shitcoin treasury companies keep at it for FIVE YEARS like saylor did and demonstrate that they can actually do what they claim, then maybe the market will believe that there's not going to be any ETH left to buy. but currently that's not the case
it's a copycat that doesn't understand what it's copying. so i do think they're not gonna work, not sustainably, and not for the next couple of years.
