While scrolling through some old pictures and found this picture from my poster presentation with @rishit_dagli for the @PyTorch Conference 2023 in San Fransisco. We covered how you can leverage WASI-NN to make Pytorch more efficient for edge specifically making optimizations to NeRF models to run on edge devices using WebAssembly. I really like poster presentations because unlike regular sessions, you can have deep technical conversations around the topic with a lot of folks and you get to understand multiple perspectives.

Special appreciation post for my co-presenter @the_dream_saver at @KubeCon_ India: 🙌 It was an incredible experience to share the stage with Ashish. The world already knows he’s one of the smartest minds around his technical expertise and relentless work ethic speak for themselves. But what truly stood out to me during this experience of presenting a talk with him is his perfectionism. From spending countless late nights crafting the perfect demo to meticulously refining every single detail of our slides. Ashish gave it his 1000%. We went through multiple iterations of our speaker notes, fine-tuning every word, every transition! He doesn’t just work hard he works with purpose, clarity, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. That’s what makes him exceptional at everything he does. Working alongside him was not just a collaboration it was a masterclass. Grateful for the experience and all the learning that came with it. Do one thing, but do it with zeal and never settle for anything less than perfection. 💯

This is the #WebAssembly week! Two great conferences are taking place this week with the best minds from the WASM ecosystem present - #WASMCon and @CivoCloud Navigate 1. #WasmCon is taking place in Seattle events.linuxfoundation.org/w… by @linuxfoundation The conference really encompasses all things WebAssembly, from sessions related to cloud-native, server-side, browser-side, case studies, and much more. If any individual or company wants to learn about the current state of WebAssembly and how one could fit in a use case for WASM, this is the conference to be at. There will be members from the ByteCodeAlliance, some of the biggest faces in the WASM Community including @ralph_squillace @luke_wagner, and many more. It was an honor to be part of the program committee for the event. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it in person. In addition to this, there will be the Compentize Hackathon taking place immediately after WASMCon: bytecodealliance.org/article… 2. @CivoCloud Navigate is taking place in London civo.com/navigate There will be amazing talks and workshops related to Cloud Native WASM by @rawkode, @ashwinexe, @charlieegan3, @endocrimes ,@0xE282B0, @SaiyamPathak @technosophos @fermyontech

Replying to @SantoshYadavDev
Point is can you deliver the same impact in potentially 40 hours in comparison to spending 70 hours. I think this point is missing in the discussion. You could spend 100 hours and not have the same impact as one can do. Defining how much impact you want to achieve in a week is perhaps more important. Hours become a secondary thing. If it is taking you more time to achieve that goal setting, then you need to improve how you try to achieve that goal.

Hot take: I see so many Twitter ads / blogs / projects these days around Chat with your docs using RAG / Vector search. But this concept is not new. I built a project similar to this back in 2020 when GPT 3 API was available.
