I met him few weeks ago in Herat, he told me that he was concerned for his safety because of his stands on Taliban, he is not able to go to his own village. I told him to go 2 Kabul 4 few weeks, he said that he would stay in Herat as long as he can, sadly today he lost his life!
Mr. Karimi a known civil society activist from Herat was killed by Taliban today afternoon, while traveling from Toorghoundi to Herat city. His car was stopped by Taliban in Qayam Moshak area and said subsequently he and the other man traveling with his were dragged and killed.
