Over the weekend, 40 HAC soldiers completed final test exercises for a qualification that will allow them to plan and execute realistic battle training within their subunits, using a wide range of small arms and pyrotechnics.

SRPC students are required to complete an 8-mile Army Fitness Test (AFT), under the instruction of the course Physical Training Instructor (PTI). Each student needs to carry a total load of 25kg, including the SA80 rifle but not including water. 8-mile route has a cut off of 2hrs

20 years ago, women were first permitted to join the HAC. They have contributed across the Regiment, including Op. Tours ranging from Iraq, Afghanistan, Kenya & the Falkands. All roles within the HAC are open to women.
