No\Name volume 1 is up for pre-orders and will be out in Japan on the 4th of October.
I don’t think it’s a secret that if the sales of vol.1 will be weak we might not be able to continue. I know no one owns as anything, but if you enjoyed No\Name and read it for free it would help us a tone if you would consider buying the Japanese version physical or digital.
Also this volume has a few surprises inside that will not be in the web chapters.

I just watched "Cyberpunk Edgerunners" in one sitting! Awesome! Great! Under the recent domestic anime situation, there was a feeling that famous Japanese studios were consumed by the overseas market, but not this one! This is a miracle of squeezing the trigger to the world!

Just a comment to add context for us wanted to cut Becka. We were quite against it when Trigger wanted to introduce a new character to existing scripts but once we saw this early design we were in. She is a super important part of the story and my personal fav. #Edgerunners

If you are curious, this is the synopsis:
Dark Action Mystery set in Northern Europe, where supernatural powers are attributed through a person's name, given to everyone by the government. A man fighting with wolf companions & a werebear girl investigate a missing child's case for the government-run Naming Agency.
I want to thank Dogen, Lucy, Tam, Sztybor, and Jas for providing feedback in development.

sounds but for me that is a consistent portrayal of a existing setting and not an adaptation. Technically Rings of Power is in the same bout - it does not adapt LOTR or Silmarilion but rather tells a new story or to a lesser extent the MCU? What do you think? 2/2

Let’s talk about it. My view is that they are character driven franchises and there are setting driven ones. A Batman show relies on either having Batman or the audience being so familiar with B that they can just be a presence to loom over other characters. In a setting based world like CP or Fallout new characters can interact with the setting without relying on character familiarity, as the concepts are what makes that thing fun and engaging.
i now firmly believe "original, separate story set in the same universe" is the best approach for video game adaptations
