Pretty much this. If OWL sticks on ow2 without any help for T2 then everyones chances to get into owl is astronomically low. Was already difficult enough to get in, this would make it impossible. Feels like if you don't make OWL this year then just leave/retire.

A lot of contenders players get into owl by scrimming owl teams and being noticed. Helped a ton with warmups as well. Now that possibility is gone.
Apac needed contenders teams to widen their scrim pool. This makes it incredibly small and you'll only scrim the same few teams.

The most underrated player I know. I'm glad he's on team Sweden to show how great he is at the world cup. He can pick up a hero in a couple days and play it at a high level, which is a crazy skill. He is more than what you see in matches and has a great attitude as well.
