Let me start by saying I’m not a platformer kind of gamer. I was born in 88… so platforming was the craze, but I never got into it. I wanted to give this a try with all the hype and craze I’ve been seeing for it.
I’m glad I did. The game is fun, challenging, colorful, vibrant, and addictive. I sat and played in one session longer than any other vr game I’ve played before, and that is not hyperbole. I was checking every corner, looking around making sure I wasn’t missing coins or any secrets. A few times I just stopped to look around and enjoy the graphics.
The soundtrack is a lot of fun! The background music is relaxing and the DJ level is a blast! I would love to see a limited edition vinyl set released in the future.
The first boss fight was fun, going from platformer to a first person shooter. The game is great and made me a believer. I’m only through the first arc, but I had a great time and it’s definitely a game I’ll go back to again and again!

I think the psvr2 is hands down the best vr system for the money right now. Games look best on psvr2. But it’s missing a more social aspect. An overwhelming amount of games on psvr2 are SP, which is fine, but there’s a social aspect that is sorely needed.
This is the fix. PS Home needs to return and can run both flatscreen and VR! We need this to push the psvr2 further.
