Over 1,200 individual scouting reports
Letās talk draftš«”
Order: FootballGameplan.com/2026Draā¦
Whatās hilarious bout this pic is that:
1. Jameis is really tryna score
2. #71 see the vision and hyping him up
3. Jameis is like 98 yards away from the end zone
Lemme just get this out here before folks start wrongly discussing the #Ravens search for a new OCā¦
Lamar Jackson ran a āpro styleā offense in college at Louisville under Bobby Petrino
What I love most about the all-star game circuit; you get a true sense of what a player did on tape & how would it measure up at a higher level.
St. Norbert (D3) vs Nevada (FBS)
Everyone wants QB development until they see what QB development tends to look like.
Woosah & have patience, itās evident that talent is there; needs to play & flatline his consistency.
Couple things I hate about this:
1. Makes it out to be already a failure
2. Ignores that majority of this is probably start-up costs
3. Gets folks to not read the article
4. Paints negative light, which is what many thrive on.
5. Makes The Rock look solely responsible.
Meanwhile there is another QB from the 2020 draft class to never sniff the playoffs, and has been the starter long than Hurts, who doesnāt get the same level of Ultimatum Analysis as Hurts does, or the other QB from that class who hasnāt also made the playoffs yet š¤·š¾āāļø
Jalen Hurts must win a playoff game next season to be the #Eagles QB in 2023. Just making the playoffs wonāt be enough for Eagles to commit. Has to win a playoff game.
The #Bears continue to fill out their staff, hiring former #Giants WRs coach Tyke Tolbert as their new WRs coach and passing game coordinator, sources say. A very respected assistant who excels at developing talent.
However you wanna slice it, the #Bears have a chance to build something special around franchise QB Justin Fields in the #NFLDraft
Offense could be one of the more explosive in the league.
Call me crazy, but Hurts was like this at Oklahoma. Folks just glossed right over it.
Many are just now beginning to acknowledge what heās always been š¤·š¾āāļø
The real question is why does Lamar have all those ābut can heā¦ā qualifiers when heās spoken about.
Thatās where the real conversation begins
I swear...you can celebrate a drafteeās moment without bringing up the worst tragedy theyāve gone through in the life. I promise you, itās not needed to tell his/her draft story
#Giants Camp takeaways:
- Itās Malik Nabersā world & weāre just living in it
- Love the development plan they have for Jaxson Dart & Abdul Carter, seeing significant & meaningful reps.
- UDFA receivers consistently make plays.
- Gunner Olszewski had an excellent day
That irrational hate for Jalen Hurts is rather weird considering the teamās accomplishments this season.
And when he & they build on that next season, donāt get mad or heauxmotional or tender when folks call you out on it.
With the Ivy League now deciding to participate in the FCS Playoffs, don't let them also become active in the NIL spaceš
That Original 13 Colonies money is looooooong
#Raiders get my #1 Slot Corner in Amik Robertson:
- Insane instincts and ball skills.
- Does a great job of maximizing every opportunity when the ball comes his way; doesnāt miss turnover chances.
- A certified DOG
Tyler Huntley should've been a draft pick. It'll be interesting to see if he's a hot commodity this offseason for a team looking for a young vet instead of a rookie.
Man, but is this sustainable? If you give these NFL defenses a full offseason, they'll figure him out. In today's NFL, you have to be able to use your legs
Lamar Jackson's success this season w/the #Ravens has many smart people sounding stupid. Imagine wishing injury on a player in order to be 'right' about your rabbit-assed, preconceived draft take that was seasoned in a tired, old positional stereotype that has proven to be a myth
Lamar Jackson has 2-MVP awardsā¦1 vote away from being a 2x unanimous winner..
Only two current active QBs have multiple MVP awards.
Funny how when heās out there, theyāre either getting the #1 seed or gunning for it.
āClear cutā gets thrown around to unworthy QBs far too much
The careers of Joe Burrow/Jalen Hurts have been similar so far, yet Hurts is never in Top 5 QB discussionsš¤
- 2x Pro Bowler
- MVP Runner Up
- Super Bowl app.
- 100 total TDs
- Similar # of starts
If you prefer JB > JH cool, but Hurts is in the same convo
Both are elite QBs
QB you donāt like loses: āHe canāt winā
QB you like who loses: āQB wins not a statā
ā
QB you donāt like: ādoesnāt make the guys around him betterā
QB you like: āNeeds help and weaponsā
ā
QB you donāt like: ālook at his comp %ā
QB you like: ācomp % doesnāt tell the whole storyā
If youāre a #Heisman voter, you have to add Buffaloās RB Jaret Patterson to your Top 5. Heās earned the right w/his play and has had multiple Heisman moments, plays & games.
The #NFLDraft follows the same cycle every yr:
- Deepest draft class ever
- 75 1st RD š
- 45 Top 10 š
- Combine doesnt matter
- Teams are looking to trade up in RD1
- Combine matters
- Teams are looking to trade out of RD1
- Only 3 guys worth Rd1
- Next Yearās class is better
Scouts I talked to at the combine RAVED about both Shedeur Sanders & Cam Ward.
Many shared they donāt know why the disdain for either guy, as both are talented alpha leaders
Gonna be interesting come late April š§
Jalen Hurts has, and has always exhibited, the right mental makeup to be a stellar starting QB... ESPECIALLY in *that* city. Dudes like him, Watson, Lamar, and from what I've seen of Justin Fields, are just built differently in that regard.
Lamar Jackson is doing the same things he did in CFB. They just didnāt want to #see it. Folks spent all predraft, all of 2018 season, all spring & summer, even up until this game telling you he ācouldnāt throwā or play QB.
Now they got amnesia thoš§
Pepperidge Farm remembers
I think Matt Ryanās career will be looked back upon more favorably than it is currently while heās still playing. I donāt know if folks think heās 1st ballot now, but definitely has a 1st ballot HOF resume.
If Hue Jackson starts Mayfield Wk 1 & he struggles, theyād say āHeās ruining himā
Vet struggles in a game, rook goes in, plays well, and itās āwhat was Hue thinking??ā
Damned if you do, damned if you donāt
The last time a quarterback was as dominant in the Big Ten like Dwayne Haskins was this past season w/his 50 TDs/8 INTs, was back in '12 when Russell Wilson threw 33 TDs to only 4 INTs. To me, Haskins was an easy QB eval. Football aint that hard, dude is special
As weird as it sounds, Taysom Hill is the best at running power than anyone in the league because heās decisive in his approach, and is usually hitting the hole as itās opening.
His timing, combined with his explosiveness is šÆ
if Lamar Jackson had a 72% completion percentage, they'd say it was a 'simple offense'. Since it's below the arbitrary 60%, they're saying he's 'inaccurate'. Goalposts will always move.
Here's what I do know, the team that drafts him will be in the playoffs w/him at QB.
#Falcons getting Bryan Edwards is a fantastic move. Potentially a strong 1-2 punch on the perimeter with he and London, and Pitts on the inside as well.
The #Saints are sending an all-out blitz to try to sign Jadeveon Clowney, who has spoken multiple times to coach Sean Payton, sources tell me and @RapSheet. At least two other teams still involved as Clowney's extended free-agent saga nears a close.
This is why I always say āevery competition isnāt a real oneā
But, many will use this as a reason to say āhe canāt even beat out Daniel Jonesā
Donāt fall for the banana in the tailpipe
The #Colts are naming Daniel Jones their starting quarterback, per sources.
After a training camp competition with Anthony Richardson, Jones ā the former #Giants starter ā gets the ball Week 1 vs. Miami.
Chiefs and QB Patrick Mahomes have reached agreement on a 10-year -- 10-year! -- contract extension that ties him to Kansas City through the 2031 season, league sources tell ESPN.
Guys like Garrett Gilbert is proof to why alternate leagues work, and why I'm excited for the USFL & XFL. Dude should stay on a pro roster. He's got game
I'll say this again, @BYUfootball prospects are having themselves a fantastic postseason all-star game circuit.
WR Puka Nacua had some excellent receptions today, and OL Blake Freeland was one of the more consistent OL on the National Team. #SeniorBowl
