Today, FBI Atlanta SWAT apprehended violent fugitive Marques Fleming, who was wanted by authorities in Charlotte, North Carolina, on a charge of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill. Fleming will be extradited to Charlotte and transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office. FBI Atlanta is seeking information from potential victims related to an ongoing child sexual abuse material investigation. FBI special agents have uncovered a series of videos believed to have been taken inside public restrooms at locations in Gwinnett, Jackson, and Oconee Counties including public restrooms and high school athletic events between February 2024 and March 2026. Today, @TheJusticeDept announced the results of the National Health Care Fraud Takedown, charging 455 defendants in connection with more than $6.5 billion in alleged fraud schemes. ow.ly/q8ut50ZfXTl Here in Atlanta, FBI agents assigned to our Health Care Fraud Squad worked with partners across the country to investigate complex fraud schemes, including a case involving a company executive accused of submitting billions of dollars in fraudulent claims for amniotic wound allografts. Health care fraud drives up costs, exploits patients, and steals from taxpayer-funded programs. The FBI will no longer tolerate any form of health care fraud.
