No not at all. Have you not kept up with the story? Zavala has lost companion after companion. And time and time again he has continued to put his faith into the traveler.
We see him act irrational and out of fear because the witness was actually making some sense. Even after the traveler has given him nothing, only taking, he still chooses to side with them. Even when the witness offers him his family back.
I would have loved to see Lance’s take on a more irrational and emotional Zavala.

A cool tool for fighting games would be a “Ghost” system like racing games have.
You can fight against your ghost after an x amount of games, like 20 or so. With the compiled data, you can learn what your habits are and what mistakes you make.
Would be neat.

I miss gears 2 and 3. Lots of fun on the Xbox days. South American players in Mexico were literal gods in this game man. The wall bounce tech was NUTS.

One thing I do miss about the older Tekken games was having a reason to play all the characters. Say what you want about Tekken’s story, but playing the chars to unlock their ending cutscenes encouraged me to discover characters I wouldn’t care to play. It allowed for discovery.
