The Uganda Embassy in Copenhagen has launched the “Explore Uganda” outdoor advertising campaign across key public transport routes in the Danish capital to market Uganda as a top tourism destination in the Nordic region.
Launched by Uganda’s Ambassador to Denmark, Margaret M. Otesskov, the campaign seeks to boost destination awareness among travellers interested in nature, adventure, wildlife, and cultural tourism.
The campaign showcases Uganda’s iconic attractions, including mountain gorillas, the Rwenzori Mountains, tree-climbing lions, rich culture, and unique culinary experiences.
This initiative comes as Uganda’s tourism sector continues to register strong growth, with international arrivals through Entebbe International Airport rising steadily, reinforcing Uganda’s position as a preferred destination for tourism, business, and conferences.
The Embassy says the campaign will strengthen Uganda’s visibility in Denmark and across the Nordic region, attracting more visitors to experience the Pearl of Africa.
