After visiting care providers in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, visa changes come up time and again as a pressing concern. I raised this directly with Baroness Casey and asked whether she would support a social care sector visa rather than one tied to individual employers.

The NHS turns 78 today and it remains one of the greatest achievements in our country's history. To every doctor, nurse, carer and member of staff working across our local hospitals and care services in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, thank you for everything you do every single day.

It was great to visit Seetec in Uxbridge to meet residents participating in the Restart programme as part of Employability Day. Speaking with people on their employment journey was a reminder of just how much difference high quality employment support can make in our community!

The NHS spends billions of pounds on contracts with private companies every year. I questioned whether the conduct and behaviour of those companies, including publicly reported allegations against Palantir, should form part of how those contracts are awarded.

I have been meeting with local NHS leaders to discuss a number of issues affecting residents, including wheelchair access, Mount Vernon cancer services, neurological services, fertility treatment and the new neighbourhood health hubs planned for Hillingdon.
