If the test is about if people "feel" the difference then isn't the entire test that was run with the bad players also anecdotal? Not only is the difference super obvious from a technical standpoint, any decent player can CLEARLY feel the difference.
I wish that 64 VS 128 tick test found that people could feel the difference. Because it didn't, and getting repeatedly told why it was wrong by people who cling to their own anecdotal evidence on the subject is insufferable. Please somebody, (anybody!) do the test for yourselves!

mr12 is not better than mr15. mr12 is a bandaid fix to make a game shorter and therefore "easier" to watch. its like a gun being overpowered so you make it have less bullets. yes it makes the gun worse, but not for the right reasons.
I remember MR12 on a map like de_aztec.
This map was a competitive nightmare. CTs could play 2-3 AWPs because of the long open distances, and tight choke-points of the map.
Oldschoolers - do you remember trying to push water as T, and you tried to jump into action 2-3 guys at the same time?
I've done both MR12 and MR15.
As a professional player, MR15 is obviously better because you have time to recover and a smart team will find their way back.
MR12 would probably be more entertaining from a viewers perspective though. Today some matches simply run for too long, and we risk losing the viewers interest.
We have to remember that the entertainment value is important for our game to grow.
