This relationship was built in 2008. I was MVP at Michigan camp & @CoachCandle was at Mt. Union. My pops said NEVER BURN A BRIDGE! So I didn’t “big time him” He gets the job at Toledo & I was the first person he called. 3 days later he was at my home for a visit. Rest is history

I love what AB did and respect his game, but I always use this stretch and AB as an example to my guys. Who you are as a man and your character will outlast what you do on the field. This is legendary but ppl hardly remember it because of AB’s decision making. Keep that in mind!
