The India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of 2022 has continuously expanded the scope of our cooperation. We have now decided to accelerate work on the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation, with unprecedented progress over the past few years. A stronger economic partnership for a shared future. PM @narendramodi and PM @AlboMP addressed the Economic Roadmap business event, a gathering of over 200 CEOs and business leaders from both sides. PM highlighted the natural synergies between India and Australia and called for an early conclusion of the CECA. He encouraged businesses to work together in sectors including critical minerals, semiconductors, AI, EVs and defence, and urged Indian States and Australian provinces to build stronger economic partnerships.
