Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Prime Minister of Vanuatu, Jotham Napat, have signed a new treaty, the Vanuatu–Australia Nakamal Agreement, in Canberra.

Fuel tax relief will continue for Australians.
Fuel excise cuts will be extended, taking 16 cents per litre off the price of petrol and diesel from 1 July to 2 August.
The heavy vehicle road user charge will also be cut by 16 cents per litre for the same period to extend relief for our freight and transport operators.
Extended relief will help to keep prices lower at the pump and limit flow on price increases for groceries and other goods.
