Also friends aren’t as vulnerable as romantic partners are to try work on things/get you back. It’s easier to give multiple chances to a person who is actively chasing after you, trying to fix things, trying to communicate and get to the bottom of the issue and buying you “sorry” gifts etc. Just grand declarations of love and attempts at mending. It’s hard to say no to that. Fall out with friends, there’s usually no real discussion or effort. A lot of pride and ego is involved often. You’ll be lucky if you get an apology.
