Some were getting 8 stillbirths per shift and were freaking out. These people are good at following corporate dictates but fail at independent thinking. When I was growing up, most of the doctors I knew had their own private practices and their own opinions. They were certainly not compliant. They were not governed by a monolithic corporate structure micromanaging every thing they did to increase profit. To be a successful doctor today, you must comply. Always comply. You are not being treated by an independent doctor, but by the corporation they work for.
