This is a cool series Scott is starting. He’ll do a post each day for a different MLB team. If you request, he’ll tag you on the posts. As far as my favorite O’s mgr, I liked Joe Altobelli who was at the helm when I started following the O’s & piloted them to the 1983 WS title.
Who is your personal favorite Baltimore Orioles Manager? (And coach if want) Have to mention the legendary Earl Weaver from before my time. But for a guy I saw manage I'll go Davey Johnson. Couldn't believe how long he went without job. Favorite coach, Cal Ripken Sr at 3b.

For yesterday’s poll I asked: Among these 4 players, who do you think was the most deserving of the 1987 NL MVP? The results are in & Eric Davis wins by the slimmest of margins. This was the closest poll I’ve done yet. All 4 players had a great case for MVP #ATOBTTR

I’ll go with Edgar Renteria. He had some big postseason moments & at one point looked like he might have a shot at 3,000 hits. He retired at age 34 w/2,327.
