COMMENCING PHASE 2: the parcelling (beta)
you may now go to
bitmap.land, search your bitmap districts (blockheight#) on the map
when you click your block, it opens up a uniform view of parcels (transaction#)
you may connect your wallet and it will show if the district is in your wallet
the orange parcels shown in this view are PART of your DISTRICT by default and your district#.bitmap is the key to this
in this view, you may CHOOSE to DETACH your PARCEL from your DISTRICT by using the CORE bitmap INSCRIBER
this inscriber is built upon @trac_btc indexing of bitmap and our LOOKSORDINAL bitmap inscriber
the map was built by
@bitmapdev in record time under immense pressure, so please support your devs by supporting our SIGNATURE project:
bitmap.land
the standard is: parcel#.district#.bitmap
however, any parcels you inscribe remain locked in unverifiable limbo (untapped). these are NOT yet developed as PARCELS and SHOULD NOT be accepted on secondary markets until you complete the following action that we are calling: TAPPING your DISTRICT
to TAP means to SEND TO SELF
you can do this TAP function on
bitmap.land using
@unisat_wallet, however, due to
@xverse not yet supporting SEND TO SELF, this unfortunately means that Xverse users must use a different wallet that allows for the ability to SEND TO SELF (tap)
TAPPING signals to the index that you have completed inscribing the parcels you want
if you send away your DISTRICT before you have TAPPED successfully (with transaction confirmed) this will cause the UNTAPPED parcels to remain UNVERIFIED, otherwise known as FAKE
therefore, inscribed parcels are fake until district is proven tapped
BUT WHY?
this is to prevent potential frontrunning issues, which are explained wonderfully by
@bitmapdev in his debut video, which i recommend everybody watch the following video which explains this all in detail
piped.video/watch?v=aXP9jSVg…
now... you know the details of PHASE 2 beta, it is ready for your battle testing! you must know this is all experimental as everything in ordinals, and we hope we have found the most elegant and efficient design possible that can survive the heaviest load
you can see the full ruleset for bitmap districts and parcels on our GitHub
and we now encourage you all to throw whatever you can at bitmap since these two core components make up the foundations of the bitmap standard
and we hope you enjoy our signature project
bitmap.land
yours truly,
