A Farewell to Hashii, A Founder and Friend Dear Community, As most of you are now aware, Hashii passed away earlier this month, a loss announced by the GMC Council with deep respect for the privacy of his family. On behalf of all of us, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, especially Sekhmetmaat, during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you mourn and heal. It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we gather as a community to say farewell to our friend,@HashiiMot0. Hashii’s vision and leadership shaped our communities, and his legacy will live on through the work we continue to do at @Galactic_Mining, @GalacticSynd, and @INFERNUM_CLUB. GMC's council commitment to honoring his memory, as shared in their post, resonates deeply with me—gone, but never forgotten. The renegade spirit he brought to our endeavors is symbolized by the 🏴‍☠️ and 🫡. For context, in late January, Hashii suffered a massive grand mal seizure. During this tragic episode, he hit his head and was found unconscious. From that point, he fought bravely, spending all of February in the ICU, battling for his life. Tragically, he suffered a cardiac arrest on March 1st. He will be laid to rest this Sunday, and we hold space for his family and each other as we grieve this immense loss. As a community, we miss our friend and leader dearly, and our hearts have a collective sadness. Hashii was more than a founder—he was a visionary, a guiding light, and a true companion on this intergalactic journey.
