What does chain abstraction look like from a user perspective and the ideal end state for users? - The initial projects were built to operate on a single chain, which fragmented both users and liquidity. - The need for cross-chain infrastructure like Axelar has never been greater. - End users have never really cared about which chain they used; they just wanted to get things done. Unpacking Axelar ITS - Bridging has always been in high demand, and the ecosystem had to rely on centralized solutions. - Axelar aimed to create a code-free solution, aspiring to establish a decentralized, transparent, and safe system for all. - The Interchain Token Service (ITS) is a code-free tokenization solution with bridging capabilities, currently supporting EVM chains and planning to support non-EVM chains in the future. - Projects can use ITS to deploy a token on all chains supported by Axelar (56 as of now) at once, receiving the same token address on all chains.
