Are there any tornadoes/storms that you believe you have the best/only picture of?
I was the only chaser who witnessed this storm at this point near Leon, Iowa on June 7th, 2022.
May 18, 2013 - Rozel, KS
I was trying to do everything at once and focused 99% on video, so this shot is blurry… grrrr. but it still captures the epic-ness! #wxtwitter#StormHour#kswx
The Joplin, MO supercell (May 22, 2011) approx 5-8 min before the tornado touched down. Looking SSW here. The RFD is just starting to punch in in the lower left. Low level rotation was not impressive when I took this picture. #StormHour#mowx#wxtwitter
5 years ago today, I was riding out the eyewall and breaking out into the clear eye of Cat 5 Hurricane Michael at Tyndall AFB, FL! What an incredible experience this was. #HurricaneMichael#wxtwitter#StormHour#Florida#Epic
4 years ago today, the experience of a lifetime -riding out the eyewall of #Cat5#Hurricane Michael. Check out the clear eye with a perfect stadium effect! Experienced wind gusts of up to or exceeding 160 mph! #wxtwitter 🌀

May 10, 2010 - Wakita, OK
Crazy multi-vortex tornado develops right in front of us. This tornado became large and rain wrapped as it crossed into KS. #wxtwitter#okwx#StormHour#Tornado#Weather
May 19, 2024 - Salina, KS
As we kept blasting east with this surging, outflow dominant storm, it continued to produce some cool structure. Had a couple minutes to pull over off the interstate to grab a couple shots. #kswx#wxtwitter
May 20th, 2013 - Moore, OK EF5 #Tornado Also the day that we got stuck in a traffic jam -as people understandably panicked. Cars stopped in the middle of the road as residents watched helplessly while their homes and neighborhoods were being destroyed.
April 9, 2011 - Pocahontas, IA Twins
A cyclonic/anti-cyclonic pair ongoing at the same time as a 1.5 mile wide wedge in the rain. Insane night.
#wxtwitter#StormHour#iawx
May 24, 2011 - Canton Lake, OK
Our first tornado of the day. We arrived right as it was touching down as we almost stayed around El Reno, but decided last minute to shoot north. #wxtwitter#okwx#StormHour
May 19, 2024 - Ellsworth, KS
Severe, outflow dominant storm, surging east with a nice wheat field in the foreground. This thing was warned for winds 90+ mph. #kswx
May 22, 2010 - Ipswitch, SD
A few minutes before the "wheat field", we had one drill bit just north of us and another just behind us. Also, my dad having the time of his life lol

These were a cyclonic/anti-cyclonic pair according to the NWS survey and on the ground at the same time as a 1.5 mile wide wedge in the rain just left of these. Insane night!

Nov 7, 2011 - Snyder, OK
First tornado of the day for us as we arrived too late for Tipton. What an amazing day this was. This is looking south from US 183, south of Snyder. #wxtwitter#StormHour#okwx
May 18, 2014 - Wright, WY
My most famous shot and one that won me the FineArtAmerica photo contest in 2015. Fun day with very few chasers on it. #wywx#wxtwitter
March 18, 2012 - Reed, OK
Impressive structure with cone tornado underneath on the cyclic supercell. It would go on to produce several more tornadoes. #wxtwitter#StormHour#okwx#photooftheday
Supercell that rode just north of the warm front and tried hard to produce many times from Atwood, KS to Sutton, NE. It may have latched on and produced near Oxford, NE, but we couldn’t confirm. #kswx#newx
North of Corning, IA this afternoon. This was the first tornado. The second developed to our south and wrapped in rain from our perspective. It downed several wind turbines. #iawx
Nov 7, 2011 - Ft. Cobb, OK
Last tornado of the day. This ended up moving over Ft. Cobb Lake. We pulled up on the dam of the lake right in time to see it cross the water! #wxtwitter#StormHour#okwx#Tornado
May 18, 2013 - Rozel, KS
A shot I forgot I had. Standing on the road next to the house that was destroyed, looking north as it begins to rope out with a warm glow of sunset colors. #wxtwitter#StormHour#kswx
QT your most vital artwork.
This image won me a national photo contest and I got to be in a national TV commercial (FineArtAmerica). Also the TL got over 22 million views on YouTube.
June 16, 2014 - Burwell, NE
Structure with tornado completely rain-wrapped now. The supercell gusted out shortly after this, but had an incredible shelf for awhile. #newx#wxtwitter
May 19, 2024 - Dorrance, KS
Mean, outflow dominant storm, surging east along I-70. We were too late for the tornado back by Russell. We thought we saw something in the rain not long before this image to the north, but couldn't confirm anything. #kswx#wxtwitter
May 20, 2013 - Moore, OK EF5
VIDEO: piped.video/o6Qk6_5G50c?si=LBfq…
An insane day that hit close to home. Never thought I'd be around to witness another EF5 only 2 years later. As with Joplin, we went in and did search and rescue right afterward. #wxtwitter#StormHour#okwx
May 23, 2016 - Turkey, TX
Incredible LP supercell at sunset. This was taken at 14mm and the superwide lens makes it look small, but this thing was a beast! #txwx
May 18, 2014 - Wright, WY
A slightly different view of this amazing LP over rural Wyoming, taken as we were driving east to avoid the baseballs to softballs. #wywx#wxtwitter
April 9 has been good to me in the past.
April 9, 2011 - Mapleton to Pocahontas, IA tornadofest
April 9, 2012 - Woodward, OK Epic structure, huge hail, and tornadoes
Need some plains chases soon
Nov 7, 2011 - Wichita Mtns, OK
Beautiful, carved out meso, as this beast intensified and moved through the wildlife refuge. We eventually lost it in the rain to our northeast. #wxtwitter#StormHour#okwx
