If you are thinking about grabbing Inter Defenders after seeing Bastoni with 1 goal and 1 assist in the last match, Dumfries might be your cheaper alternative. 🥅 Goalkeeper (GK): I have mentioned that I faded Courtois (just in price action since the pump to 160M MC is unexpected). I have mentioned that on X, I grabbed Simon ($0.0964->0.092) as an alternative and it ages well in Week 2. Let me tell you why. Simon was the least conceded goalie last season in La Liga and he's the no.1 GK in Spain (You will see international matches in September). Bilbao is obviously not as strong as Real Madrid but what I always mention. In FDF, GK is not just focusing on getting clean sheets and you could rank top 3, I would say you might need a weaker team so your GK could perform more with saves, pick-ups, and clearances. That's why I sold all my Courtois previously (While I'm writing this article, you guys pumped 20%+ on Courtois). Another GK I added this week is Vicario ($0.125->0.149), #1 on GK leaderboard for the last two weeks, and his price action was red. Let's come back to this analysis next week and see who's right. ⭕ Conclusion: I have checked from the Top 50 whales wallets and I am the one holding the LEAST number of players (20), since most of the whales actually bought Founders Pack and they just HODL. I play the game, and aim for accuracy, holding only the valuable players to increase my chance getting more TPs to win the game but not spreading. Today, I experienced another @animocabrands studio game: @Cosmic_Bomber. This is the second game under the Cosmic Club, and I suspect we might see more upcoming games that will allow us to earn additional RP in @Moca_Network for future rewards like $MOCA. It's not on everyone's radar yet (only 1.3K followers) because it's still in closed beta testing. Make sure you have your Moca ID ready to enjoy the game. Let's start our review! (My fire bomber @play_ember could beat all the water bombers) ===================== Graphics: ⭐⭐⭐🈳🈳 The front page design reminds me of @Supercell. As a big fan of their games, I think learning from the best is always smart. However, I don't particularly like the character design style, and the character outlines are not smooth. Content & Innovation: ⭐⭐🈳🈳🈳 There is basically no difference from other Bomberman-themed games. The maps and items are similar (throwing/kicking bombs, walking faster with shoes). One possible innovation is the 📌, which can save you when in danger. This, however, disrupts game balance. If you have a premium pass, you can get plenty of these 📌, giving you a significant advantage in climbing the leaderboard. Optimization: ⭐⭐⭐🈳🈳 We could choose from 4:3, 16:9, and 16:10 aspect ratios, which is great, but we could definitely do more, i.e., choosing graphics quality so lower PC/laptop specs could also run well without any special effects. Overall: ⭐⭐⭐🈳🈳 It's a game, but what stands out from others? ===================== Recommendation: 1) Make Cosmic Club an independent IP I'm not sure if @tylerdurden88 or @yatsiu would agree, but I believe this is a crucial step for success. Cosmic Royale, Cosmic Bombers, and other games from @Moca_Network will likely join the club, mocalizing the network. As a unified club, why not have the same characters appear in all the games? I'm not suggesting we release an NFT collection—just characters that represent Cosmic Club. @PGgroup_ used to have various NFT collections, but now they're merging. Look at SuperCell; every new game features familiar characters like barbarians or witches. This creates a sense of belonging and reinforces the identity of playing a game from a unified IP. 2) Make the Web3 game FUN AGAIN I haven't reviewed Cosmic Royale yet (maybe later), but when I recommended it to a friend, I described it as "Fall Guys on karts." At @animocabrands, we have the resources and talent to think beyond simply adapting Web2 games into Web3. Innovations like the energy load in Cosmic Royale are great, but will we see more new Web3 games with unique themes or playstyles that attract Web2 gamers? That's the question Web3 gaming companies need to ponder. 3) Gamers-friendly UI The team could set up a beginner-friendly tutorial to help them get familiar with the game.
