wait hold on this the actual position? isnโ€™t this pretty reasonable and what most americans actually want?
EVERYONE KNOWS I WOULD NOT SUPPORT A FEDERAL ABORTION BAN, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AND WOULD, IN FACT, VETO IT, BECAUSE IT IS UP TO THE STATES TO DECIDE BASED ON THE WILL OF THEIR VOTERS (THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE!). LIKE RONALD REAGAN BEFORE ME, I FULLY SUPPORT THE THREE EXCEPTIONS FOR RAPE, INCEST, AND THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER. I DO NOT SUPPORT THE DEMOCRATS RADICAL POSITION OF LATE TERM ABORTION LIKE, AS AN EXAMPLE, IN THE 7TH, 8TH, OR 9TH MONTH OR, IN CASE THERE IS ANY QUESTION, THE POSSIBILITY OF EXECUTION OF THE BABY AFTER BIRTH. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

man, life really is on easy mode if you are a young attractive asian girl new account, less than 500 followers, 3 tweets and then posts a cute pic of herself asking "who wants to meet" and the post goes viral to 400k views already probably a lot of devs, vcs, finance dudes are all in her dms already, she has a free choice of who she wants to meet and who not. most are probably guys who want to have intercourse with her, but that's just part of the game don't get me wrong, i don't think this is bad at all. good for her, i am a big fan of people utilising their advantages in life i guess what i am saying is i would love to be an attractive asian girl

WeWork is going bankrupt so here goes I suppose. Under him it felt blame flowed downwards to reports and negative feedback about his weird initiatives or the even weirder initiatives from those above were ignored. Overall felt like a cult and honestly I remember him repeatedly mentioning his sneaker collection. It came up about every third meeting give or take somehow. Honestly think he cared more about the sneakers than his employees. I remember there was an event where I couldnโ€™t give him any feedback for an initiative over him telling me how his sneakers were almost stolen from the mansion he was renting at the time. There was some a lot of political correctness and general silencing of opinions that didnโ€™t tow the weird woo woo company line and he definitely made it clear where he politically stood (very left). Lots of weird virtue signalingโ€”publicly he speaks like he tweets, but in private the guy seemed two-faced like a lot of university coastal elite types and didnโ€™t actually care about improving things if it didnโ€™t improve his paycheck. Heโ€™s a decently large reason why I asked to get laid off and I donโ€™t think Iโ€™m the only one. The culture he set was miserable and you could feel it through the org if you had any sort of free thinking.

being ex-homeless for a number of years you realize quickly the thing you never do is to tell people youโ€™re homeless. ever. almost everyone dismisses you and you lose opportunities because of the judgementโ€”the number of times i was told to โ€œjustโ€ go get a job, a studio, and some ikea furniture (lol, tech people love telling you this) is actually kind hilarious heโ€™s super lucky to be in a good shelter too, last shelter i was in SF an actually schizo person tried to stab meโ€”it wasnโ€™t safe back in 2010-2012 and they barely have space now people donโ€™t give a shit about you class-wise and frankly wonโ€™t care until you run circles around them salary-wise if you then do manage to win this bullshit game, you only illicit more hate and jealousy i spent a decade learning how to speak like those venture capitalists, sat in on stanford and uc berkeley classes, dropped my hood accent, and blended the fuck inโ€ฆ and it paid off it pains me to see people who are most earnest, more talented, and more honest about their situation get stuck in this rut where employment and stability just are always out of reach because they told people their situation upfront did it lie about being homeless to get my first job as a janitor at safeway? hell yeah i did, they wouldnโ€™t have hired me otherwise on a level i canโ€™t blame these people for judgingโ€”thereโ€™s few opportunities to really build an understanding of engaging with folks like us who are partially street and the โ€œinvisibleโ€ homeless, so we just get subconsciously lumped in with the fent zombies when it comes up one of the things i love about tpot/vibecamp itโ€™s among the few spaces where people donโ€™t care about this or wonโ€™t look down on you for having been through these shit ass tough times people i can share my real past with and not play oppression olympics (jealous leftists) or exile me (terrified right wingers) people i can just vibe with

when i was homeless i did this, and for years even having a lease i still continued i realized very quickly that i was actually deeply unhappy living like this, and that this wasnโ€™t the way to go for me itโ€™s a bit of a shame to come to that realization, but truthfully the cost of it was shockingly higher than expected if you had any sort of hobbies, you couldnโ€™t own things that make money (tools, machines, etc) and everything had to be digital it locked me into a software job and just essentially being a captive consumer in ways you couldnโ€™t see until you stopped i have respect for people who can pull this off, but the reality is if you have a lot of ambitions in the physical world this isnโ€™t as good of a move as you may think
