This tiny spikeless bundle, Dot, an orphaned echidna puggle who recently arrived at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital. 💔 Sadly, Dot's mum was hit by a car, leaving her alone and vulnerable.
Luckily, a kind member of the public found Dot and brought her to us just in time. One of our dedicated veterinarians is now giving her round-the-clock care, keeping her warm, fed, and safe as she continues to grow and gain strength.
Dot may be small, but she’s already showing big signs of resilience, and a whole lot of personality!

Eucalyptus is not high in nutrition, so it’s important koalas have the best abundance of leaves possible. Our team have been crucial in sourcing food for the fire-affected koalas on Kangaroo Island. It’s a tough job, but seeing them enjoy their food makes it all worthwhile! 🍃

Eeyore the koala came to us after getting hit by a car. He suffered from severe head trauma and a nerve injury to his forearm. Upon further examination, our team discovered that he is also suffering from conjunctivitis. This sweet boy will remain in care until he recovers. 🐨🥰
