There are a lot of things I want to say but I’ll try to keep in professional.
I wasn’t a top player in Gears but I still played an integral part in an incredible dynasty that won 22 championships across 3 Gears titles.
I’m trash at Halo but just placed top 6 at my first event as a coach with a brand new roster of amazing players who can all gun me with their eyes closed.
Having the ability to understand how a game should be played, how a team can operate, how to teach players and optimize performances, how to create growth and break ceilings, and so much more that comes with being a GOOD coach has nothing to do with how well I can move my thumbs.
I earn the respect of my teammates as their coach because I bring value and have an open dialogue where we help each other improve. I’m not always right, nor are they. But we are working to improve each other.
I feel bad for people who have the same mindset as Slacked in this quote because it means they never had a good enough coach to show them differently 🤷🏻♂️
Slacked speaks out about coaches in CoD.
“If you have zero experience, how are you telling me what to do?”
