The nerd is strong with this one. I tweet about anime, faith, 80s/90s pop culture, LotR, ASOIAF, football, and life. Seeking something genuine at @animetangles.
I am sincerely looking for moots. More on that below the desc:
ā twwk ⢠#Anitwt
ā christian ⢠married ⢠aniblogger
ā frieren ⢠retro anime ⢠fanart ⢠madoka ⢠romcom ⢠light novels ⢠80s/90s ⢠manga ⢠lotr +more
ā„ļø / āŗ to maybe be moots
Now, about following:
What usually happens is that I follow a bunch of people, interact with them a ton, and then they don't do the same with me.
Ugh.
You know how it isāyou've encountered the same
SO...I'll follow you but only on the following conditions:
⢠you interact with and follow me
⢠you're active
That's it!

I'm a Christian and love anime.
I'm a Christian and love sci-fi.
I'm a Christian and love gaming.
I'm a Christian and love fantasy.
I'm a Christian and love comics.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but you can love God and your nerdy hobbies, too.
The world doesnāt need more Christians condemning anime, gaming, movies, and the like. It needs more believers engaging culture thoughtfully, loving boldly, and pointing toward our only hope.
Joe Montana: 127.8 QB Rating, 11 TDs, 0 Ints, 4-0 in Super Bowls
So much talk this week about whether Mahomes or Brady is the GOAT. Maybe itās time to reevaluate.
The photos with the young elephant (he was okay) and the buffalo getting tossed (it died) were from two totally different encounters. But who cares about looking things up before posting when likes and RTs are on the line, right?
The War of the Rohirrim was enjoyable. If your measure is LotR and Tolkienās writing, youāll be disappointed, but if you want a solid anime that honors Tolkienās work (too obviously), features good (brutal!) action scenes, and has a well-written heroineāyouāre in for a good time.
I believe God wired us to be captivated by storytelling. But Christian fiction often lacks the craft and creativity to really move us.
Donāt be afraid to point your kids to better stories elsewhereājust prepare them to see how those tales can point back to Him.
The church needs more artists. More gamers. More dreamers. More writers. More streamers. More creatives. Donāt hide your fandom, your skills, and your passionsābring them into the light.
Itās the terrible edit. FMA is awesome and the remake, FMAB, is as close to a perfect anime as there is. It hits pretty much everything great about anime, and does it all well.
As much as I love and promote anime, let me clear: Not every series is good for your heart. Approach with wisdom and discernment, for our hearts easily swayed.
Christianity isn't Solo Leveling. You don't conquer it all by yourself. It's more like Dungeon Meshi. We need party members for healing, strength, and encouragement. Donāt try to clear the dungeon alone.
I mean, it was only a matter of time before the Vatican got a kawaii anime mascot.
Wait, what?
Yep, the Vatican has unveiled "Luce" (light in Italian) as the "face of the Catholic Church's upcoming holy year"! So cute. Love it!

If you're a Christian finding yourself aligning with Nazi ideologies, I beg youāpray, open your Bible, and find real believers to speak truth into your life because whoever's shaping you now? Jesus is not their LORD.
Christians who joyfully geek out over anime, comics, and games? Thatās evangelism, too, you know. You're speaking "nerd" to a generation that nerds out. You're sharing a passion for what others are passionate about. Joy is contagious. It breaks down walls and opens doors.
