More Famous Logo Fonts!
Emanuele Abrate did some research on the logos of some of the most famous brands, trying to understand which font they use or which have been modified to get to the final result.
Responsive Logo
Altering logos to dapt to the user’s device is called "responsive logo design". By applying responsive design principles to individual elements of a logo, and stripping out detail in relation to screen size, a more legible and appropriate logo can be displayed.
What is a good logo?
1. Appropriate
Logos are identification, not communication.
2. Distinctive/Memorable
Unusual enough to persist in your mind.
3. Simple
It shouls be uncomplicated while still being distinctive.
Save this for yourself and share it with others.
Why "Good design is good business."
1. Makes a strong first impression.
2. Helps your business stand out.
3. Builds customer relationships.
4. Keeps your website easy to use.
5. Promotes brand consistency.
6. Crucial to social media success.
These are just a few reasons WHY.
Almost done! Famous Logo Fonts!

Getting paid shouldn’t be emotional. It’s like sending an email or saying hello.
We attach emotion to money. Learn to talk about money objectively.
Invoice your client 50% up front. 25 upon hitting key milestones and 25 upon delivery. Don’t start work til you get that first 50.
Why did Nike block their logo?
Chris Do: "I think when a logo is used on every single thing they make, it can be tiresome. By blocking it out, they not only reinforce their logo, by forcing the viewer to imagine it behind the box, but they're also freshening it up."
Logo Colors
The colors you choose are extremely important for a brand. With the right combination of colors and text, you can already trigger emotions for the user.
Don't just make things pretty. Make things functional. #gooddesign

Nightmare client quotes:
“This shouldn’t take long”
“This should be easy”

A Graphic Designer only looks for graphic problems to solve. It's like the client saying their food delivery system is late and you tell them they need a new logo!?
If you BROADEN what you DO and how you define yourself you can get to 10-100x in value.
Why is a simple logo so expensive? Chris Do Answers
What are the most valuable brands in the world? Are their logos simple or complex? 1. Amazon 2. Apple 3. Google
It's easier to design a more complicated logo, just keep adding. It's much harder to only add what is necessary.
When a client asks for something to be done on an impossible timeline, just remember, this is not fast food. Good design takes time. Politely decline and refer them to Fiverr.
Client: Your price is too high!
Designer: "We are probably the most expensive option you have, and you might be better served working with someone else if budget is your primary concern."
This way you drop your price anchor and show confidence without saying it out loud.
Chris Do's Top Client Objections
You are too expensive.
You aren't an expert at...
You don't have enough resources.
You don't have enough experience.
He answers some objections using the "Embrace & Pivot Method."
Do you want to learn this method, too?
If you don't get paid what you're worth in your country that is no excuse. You can get clients from all over the globe and get paid real money. Instead of 200$ a month, you can make 200$/day, if you're good enough.
You're a business owner. Act like one and start getting paid.

🥳 What’s your favorite episode to date?
How do you answer a client that asks for a lower rate, teasing with more work in the future?
Don't react emotionally. If you don't want to lower your price (you shouldn't) or make concessions, stay cool. Respond objectively.

The client perceives me as a subject matter expert, therefore I am an equal. Few others can do what I can do. I have earned the right to be in the room among the decision makers. I hope they are smart enough to pay me what I'm worth so that I may help them.

Brand identity is the collection of all brand elements that the company creates to portray the right image of itself to the consumer.
Design is the foundation of brand identity.
Paul Rand said it best:
“The public is more familiar with bad design than good design. It is, in effect, conditioned to prefer bad design, because that is what it lives with. The new becomes threatening, the old reassuring.”
3 Types of Clients that waste your Time!
1. They don't pay attention to the content of your e-mails
2. They don't value their time so they won't value yours either
3. They don't value your expertise
Work with people that you can befriend. Avoid Time Vampires!
Ben Burns went from working over 60 hrs/week minimum wage to selling logos for $30k.
Action beats intent. Every. Single. Time. He doesn’t wait for the time to be right and the conditions perfect. He just goes for it.
With that mindset, there is no limit to how far you can go.

The “Glitch” Effect
The corrupted image, i.e. the glitch effect, has been one of the most popular trends in the digital world lately. Apparently, what was once annoying for the spectator has now been turned into a truly wanted effect.
Double Point Size
A good rule of thumb when changing point sizes, is to double
or half the point size you are using. For example, if you are
using 30 pt. type for the headline, use 15 pt. type for the body
copy. Try 3x or 4x the point size for more drama.

What could you learn from him by taking his work apart?
Get Inspired. Daily. Do the work. Never stop.
Price Bracketing
Rule: Say a price before you show it.
Tip: Address any buyer resistance before going forward.
Bracket with a high price anchor, above where you expect the client to spend.
Tip: Say the bigger number first. The lower price will seem a bargain for the client.
👹The worst things clients have said to me:
1. Work is mediocre
2. Overpriced
3. Not "Feeling" it
4. Why should I hire you?
5. What guarantees can you make?
6. Why should I trust you?
7. More than I need
8. Team is too small
9. Not enough experience
10. Not enough expertise

Here's a solution:
F*ck your weaknesses. Focus on your strengths.
You are good enough when the client calls you. The minute they call you you are already qualified for the job. They called you for a reason. Trust it.
Chris Do answers:
"This logo is too simple!"
It's not about the latest trend in design. I don't want your company to pick something that gets old fast. I am going to use good judgement and taste to give you something that looks beautiful and lasts.
