For years, product was never the edge in crypto. The edge was regulatory arbitrage. Narrative control.
One venue deciding what was "real." Insiders won. Market makers won. Retail ate the losses.
I'm an optimist by nature. But watching our industry get more manipulated every cycle? That's been hard.
Here's why I'm optimistic again:
Regulation is catching up. MiCA is setting a real bar to protect users. The era of shady brokers is ending. And the exchange that wins won't be the loudest.
It'll be the most user-first.
Price discovery already moved onchain, into perps, into venues where the community feels safe. Which leaves one question: who builds best?
The edge now is the product. The liquidity. Listing transparency. And how hard you work to make your users win.
Because when users win, value gets created and the whole industry thrives again.
That's @okx that's the bet @star_okx is making.
