Currently active devs are making some changes to how Termux operates. A post will be made soon with all the details. One change is to use this @termuxdevs twitter account and not the @termux account, which we don't have access to. Follow this account instead for latest news.

In less than past 24 hours of updating nodejs to v19.4.0, there has been 550+ downloads of the deb. Number of downloads of the lts remain at 260+.
Although what surprises me is that number of Python downloads are still surpassing nodejs downloads by about 3x (1700+)

Sad to hear @aarch64org is going away. Termux was using it for last few years after bintray shutdown to often serve tens of TB of data/month to our users. Thank you for being there for us and the FOSS community! Wishing you success for your future endeavors! *T&C apply* ;)

We just donated $200 via Github Sponsors to the Android terminal emulator Termux. Props to @termuxdevs for keeping the command line alive and kicking on mobile!
packages.termux.dev hosted by fosshost and its cloudlflare backed mirror has been removed from our mirrors list and grimler's repo is now the default repo temporarily. They will be redirected to grimler's repo as well soon until we find new hosting.

You can search on the internet how to export shell variables and what $PATH does. You would also need to export $LD_LIBRARY_PATH for android. There is already info about it at github.com/agnostic-apollo/t…
