2024 is almost over so it’s time for the annual recap in photos thread to begin ✨📷
Started the year with one last carwash, uni shoots , snow & my fav theme game
Also led my first home football game as the main photographer! It’s been a great experience so far this season and I’ve learned a lot! Thankful for the opportunity! ❤️🐔
Internship check in: I have been learning more and more about studio work/using lights.

First up, was helping out shoot campaign/posters for football!
❤️🐔📸
~5 months ago I took on football as the primary photog. It has been a great learning experience and a fun time. I am beyond proud of the work we have created and can’t wait to keep the ball rolling. ❤️
Happy #NationalPhotographyDay !! After my mom passed in 2008 photo became apart of my life in helping deal with grief. Ever since then photo has been my escape and the way I express myself. My dad getting me my first camera in 2009 was the best thing to ever happen to me 🫶🏽📸
Now that the 23-24 season has ended here’s a thread of some of my fav photos this season! ⬇️

Starting off strong. New season = a ton of media days. I love the opportunity studio work gives to direct with to poses and interact with our athletes!
After today if you can’t see women’s sports are IT idk what to tell you. The city put on a world class showing of what investing in the women’s game looks like.
Still in awe at the fact we had over 20,000 in the YUM on a Thursday for Volleyball. If that doesn’t tell you the impact of women’s sports especially in this city idk what can.
Out of all the photos I took on Saturday these were by far my favorite. The happiness on these guys faces after fighting through so much adversity speaks volumes. Seeing them hoist that trophy with pride was amazing.
~ 2 hours of tearing pages and gluing later. Basketball is apart of this city’s culture and what better way to showcase that with the names/stories of the people who were apart of making it so.

First of many collabs with @dcrockermedia 🫶🏽❤️

Yes I am a woman. Yes I am black. Yes I am a photographer. And yes I know what I am doing. 😊

There’s a line between critiquing to be helpful and help me grow and critiquing to be mean/rude and demeaning.
We always love getting a behind the scenes look at how photos were made.
Share a photo and then share the BTS shot! This can be you behind the camera, a studio setup, before/after, etc.
