After @brian_trollz suggested so, I've been adapting @eyeofsatoshi to run without txindex set on bitcoind. Hence, saving a ton of space since now it can run on top of a pruned node :)

Sorry, but this definition is whitewashing what Knots is.
Leaving aside the fork/mod, Knots is an opinionated version of Bitcoin where patches are mostly developed by a single person and not reviewed by anyone else.
Merging your own PRs doesn't make you "the sixth maintainer".
So to sum up Knots in a sentence:
Is an alternative version of Core where Luke is the sixth maintainer and supervises the work of everyone else.
It's value proposition is entirely predicated on Luke's experience and track record of integrity (for those who appreciate it).

Other currencies have multiple denominations without a problem, like dollar, quarter, cent or even "fiver".
If the currency is broadly used, several ways to refer to several units will be used. Accept it.

Lets at least be honest here, there's a vulnerability in **one lightning implementation**.
Besides that, we are still at the really early days of LN. Bitcoin had a bunch of them in the early days, some pretty nasty.
So yeah, kudos to @lightning for the responsible disclosure.
Another month, another critical Lightning vulnerability. Make sure to upgrade your nodes. At what point do people finally realize this crap won't ever work? 🙄
