2 years ago, an iPhone fell out of Alaskan Airlines Flight 1282 and survived after falling 16,000 feet. Turns out, that iPhone was using our phone case. To this day, Alaska Airlines still blocks us and I'm still afraid to fly.

Found an iPhone on the side of the road... Still in airplane mode with half a battery and open to a baggage claim for #AlaskaAirlines ASA1282 Survived a 16,000 foot drop perfectly in tact!
When I called it in, Zoe at @NTSB said it was the SECOND phone to be found. No door yet😅

The iPhone 15 Pro is not painted, rather it’s treated with a PVD coating for it’s color finish. The ‘discoloration’ shown in the post is not permanent and is due to oils from the hand; The color can be easily restored using a cloth
