1) Conbase was never a bitcoin company. They'll sell you whatever will make them a profit.
2) Bcash is a centralized scam, designed to overtake success of Bitcoin by using propaganda to confuse newcomers.
Decentralization matter. Avoid both.
I entered bitcoin in 2010 and left my daily job in 2011. But I was forced to sell most of my coins in dip @ 2USD/BTC to pay for servers and keep @slush_pool running.
300USD was a lot of money for many people back then and thinking that everybody must be filthy rich is dangerous.
Andreas is one of the most eloquent speakers on the topic of Bitcoin, but if he had invested even $300 in bitcoin back in 2012, he’d be a millionaire today.
Yesterday our #LightningNetwork node 🗲 ln1.satoshilabs.com experienced large-scale #DDoS attack peaking at 13Gbps. Attacker didn't do proper due diligence though, after years of operating one of most attacked service on this planet, we don't give a shit.
Friend of mine just honestly asked me why is the community so divided instead of focused on making progress together. Well, coding is hard but tweeting easy.
My other node is a @Blockstream satellite!
Smoth experience so far. I also transmitted Bitcoin whitepaper over the satellite to my offline computer for just 198 sats. 👀👏
It is exactly 7 years when I announced @slush_pool. We mined block #97834 on the same day. The pool has grown to a global company serving millions of customers since then.
I want to thank all amazing people from #bitcoin who helped me in early days to start this amazing journey!
Did you know Bitcoin Cash doesn't like to be called Bcash? /s
Thank you @BitcoinErrorLog, there were many priceless and eye-opening moments in your interview with @rogerkver
Hi there, thanks for your interest and sorry for the inconvenience! We have no choice but to suspend processing payments in your region. We will continue to seek to obtain the necessary approvals to enable us to recommence PayPal services in Turkey in the future. Thanks! ^AKT
I'm pretty sure #bitcoin blockchain is not going to be rolled back because of stolen 7000 BTC. I personally lost 3000 BTC years ago and I even didn't think of asking miners to ruin credibility of the network. #BitcoinIsNotEthereum
Mining BTC over the weekend was not so unprofitable as many people expect. Just check block value of @slush_pool blocks during that times. It was more rational to stay with BTC where miners were rewarded by inflated fees than gambling on BCH pump&dump.
This is huge step for #bitcoin mining and bitcoin security. Finally, your miners will be 💯% under your control and without a risk of vendor lock-in. Congrats to @braiins_systems hardware division!
Lately we've received two kinds of feedback what we at @Trezor should do. First group is concerned we're not adding enough altcoins, second one is bashing us for spending too much time on altcoin development. However, both groups recommend us to listen more to our customers.
After ten years in #bitcoin, one epoch of my life is over. I'm no longer affiliated with @slush_pool. I wish @braiins_systems all best and good luck with the project; my little baby is in good hands!
Since 2013, Braiins has been the majority stakeholder and sole operator of @slush_pool.
Today, we are announcing that we officially acquired the remaining stake in the pool from @slush. braiins.com/blog/braiins-acq…
The story began in April 2017, after a Send meetup in Berlin, when a guy approached me with an idea — to build a highly customized chip based on the RISC-V architecture. At that time, to me such an idea still belonged to the realm of the “impossible.”
I just paid off rest of the bounty for @monero integration into @Trezor.
Trezor is now integrated into official Monero wallet and will be part of next release. Thank you @ph4r05!
Crypto twitter is full of services proudly delisting $BSV. Should I mention @Trezor refused to even list it?
We offered our clients the way how to safely dump it though: wiki.trezor.io/How_to_split_…
Few moments ago, @Monero support has been merged to @Trezor codebase, heading to next week release for Model T. Thank you @ph4r05 for your wonderful contribution and @tsusanka, Jan Pochyla and Ondřej Vejpustek for review, refactoring and security audit! github.com/trezor/trezor-cor…
Just to remind you guys, @slush_pool was the world first with XT voting, voting for Classic and later even for NYA. You cannot catch me on that censoring / pro-core propaganda.
This video from @Falkvinge is bad on so many levels. Please tell him there's 5x more #Segwit transactions per day than all transaction on Bcash.
Rick, I had greater expectations regards your manipulation skills.

I'm really surprised that @signalapp doesn't receive #bitcoin donations yet. After recent surge in Signal userbase I wanted to send them some financial support, but Paypal and credit cards doesn't fit well to privacy focused app.
I'm a fan of principes on which bitcoin is build on. I'll happily serves customers which valuate the same principles as us. I never was in altcoins and cash won't make a difference. I however does not prevent anyone from using them.
Slush is very much a Core fan. He is betraying the interest of its clients to show Loyalty to Core. Their clients should demand a change on such behavior. Slush should be loyal to their clients' best interest.
Monero team made a great progress with their hardware wallet. They finally made TREZOR firmware running on their prototype. btcmanager.com/moneros-hardw…
We've been playing with high capacity/multi channel nodes and LN infrastructure for few months already. Besides to implementing #LightningNetwork into our products, we want to support network with some more liquidity to enable high amount payments.
Also we're considering bitcoin-only firmware exactly for concerns you may have. That's why we already made poll about that. But Rome wasn't build in a day. Stay tuned.
Did you know Antminer S9 has actual hardware support for #AsicBoost, which is disabled for their customers on software level? @braiins_systems is working on opensource FPGA bitstream for #BraiinsOS which will give power back to miners! medium.com/@braiins_systems/…
Wow, I knew TREZOR survived car test and is practically waterproof (although we don't advertise it this way), but I didn't even try to put it near the fire... nitter.app/himoonji/status/945900…
Too much people concerned about name of @TheB_Foundation . Because I cannot care less about the name, I suggest "Cat's Paw Foundation", with appropriate logo. Okay? Can we finally move forward and discuss building some stuff? :)
If you escaped into #bitcoin because of financial sovereignty and you store them on an exchange, you didn't get it.
Educate yourself and get an opensource wallet. Not your private keys, not your bitcoins. #trezor
A man lost his Trezor Model One and discovered it in the door of a washing machine four months later, having endured 20 wash cycles. After drying it out, he found that the device still functioned normally when powered on.
This definitely beats any prior crash tests done on a hardware wallet 😃.

"I am thankful to @spudowiar for his contributions to Trezor project. His out-of-the-box thinking and creative approach help us to make an even more secure product. This experience only proves that community-oriented and open-source development is the correct path to take."
PSA: TREZOR One Security Firmware Update 1.6.1 released.

Saleem is a bright mind and he makes great effort to improve security of cryptocurrencies and cyber space in general. He reports vulnerabilities to both Trezor and Ledger. I don't understand this "us versus them" narrative.
Furthermore, by this ridiculous logic, I am now "affiliated" with @LedgerHQ.
@BTChip, you have reported security bugs to @TREZOR in the past. Does that make you "affiliated" with TREZOR?
Please stop making this ridiculous claim, @LedgerHQ. /4
I have mixed feelings about this. On one side, @bitcoin was full of bullshit propaganda. On other side, I would rather see us teaching people how to recognize such propaganda than rely on Twitter censorship...
What if somebody tell them that ineffectivenesses in their browser and whole crazy modern web stacks have bigger environmental impact than whole #bitcoin?
It's so sad to hear that great open source projects jumps to this bullshit politics.
Last week, we tweeted a reminder that Mozilla accepts cryptocurrency donations. This led to an important discussion about cryptocurrency’s environmental impact. We’re listening, and taking action. 1/4
I would like to thank Ledger for demonstrating the attack that we have been aware of since designing @Trezor. Because we realize no HW is 100% safe, we introduced the passphrase; that besides plausible deniability eliminates many kinds of physical attacks, like this one.
