When I travel the people I meet and the stories I hear are just as important and the places I see. During my trip to the Hebrides I’ve been blessed to hear the moving story of Jan, from Holland, who recently nursed is wife through terminal illness and is now cycling the across the Hebrides with his late wife’s sister; I’ve cooked fresh lobster off the boat for a retired Kinder Garden teacher from Arkansas and a young Australian solar scientist; and I met a Scottish ex pat whose luggage was lost by the airline and is still cycling the Hebridean Way on his friends ladies shopping bike and clothes he’s borrowed from her.
