We are issuing this statement to express our serious integrity concerns regarding our upcoming Grand Finals match against M1 in the YGames Pro Series Season 5.
Throughout the season, including our previous match against M1, we have observed behaviors and actions that raise significant questions about fair play. Further information received from other tournament operators who have hosted M1 in their events has reinforced these concerns.
Given the circumstances, we had serious doubts about the integrity of tonight's Grand Finals match and the fairness of the competition. We raised these issues with the tournament organizers and are now making them known to the public.
YGames has responded to our concerns by stating that camera footage of each player's POV will now be displayed on the stream for the Grand Final. Additionally, they will be utilizing Akros anticheat software as previously, and POV demo recordings are mandatory. They will share the camera recordings with the teams the day after the final.
Open communication allows concerns to be voiced. Addressing issues promptly helps build a trustworthy VRS ranking system, enhancing the credibility of Counter-Strike 2 esports.
