I walked into the clubhouse after game and saw the news of John McCain passing away. My heart sank. He was a hero in every since of the word. The courage he had living his life, whether in the military on capital hill or a as a person will be forever inspirational to me as a man.

Very sad news today about Tony Fernandez. One of the most fun players to watch growing up. When he came back to Toronto in 93, he and Alomar teamed up to be the best 2B/SS combo in history up until then. I was honored to meet him last year at fan fest. Im very thankful for that.
