The whole Xlabs situatution makes me think there's a court case to be had against Activision. Selling such old games at full price with with such security issues should be illegal.

We had to delete the sm² discord server because it was getting botted.
We were on the process of freezing the whole server, so everybody who was there could still have access to a little piece of history.
This is why we can't have nice things SMFH...

Having this amount of support and people is not something I wanted to see under these circumstances, but I'm so grateful for being apart of something that made it that deep in people's hearts.

That's now how I expected my day to go, but oh well.
Today, a team member received a Cease & Desist letter on behalf of Activision Publishing in relation to the sm² project. We are complying with this order and shutting down all operations permanently. Thank you all for your support over the past 2 years.

a nac is the result of a clientside framerate and timing bug that exploits the game giving an incorrect weaponstate for a very specific frame which results in the weapon defaulting to its alternate swap out time (0) meaning that switching during that exact frame will instantly sw

I ported MW3 sprint animations over to MW2, so you can use them with actors.
If I stop being lazy one day I'll make a complete MW2-to-MW3 anims replacement mod for players too.

This was my first entire animation set ever and I'm really happy on how it turned out. I had the idea in my mind for a few months now and finally got to work on it from last weekend until today.
This really opens a lot of doors for actual, original sm² content down the line ;)
