My friend tried to withdraw £20k from Natwest bank & their response was shocking For 30 years my friend has been a loyal customer He called to withdraw the money & they said no He went into the branch and asked face to face to withdraw the £20k and they asked 'what it’s for' He said ’none of your business, it’s my money’ They said ‘unless you can tell us exactly what the money is for, you cannot withdraw it' This should shock & terrify you. Here’s why insurance feels like a massive scam: Someone in an old Toyota reversed into my parked Aston Martin DBS. Her repair bill: £50 My repair bill: £5,000 I tried to claim on her insurance (since it was her fault). Result? MY insurance premium went up. Premiums went up on ALL my other cars (7 cars). Premiums went up on my business partner’s cars. Premiums went up on my business fleet (15 cars). For a parked car. That *she* hit. A week later: Some guy rear-ended my Aston Martin at a junction. Another £5,000 repair bill. Total: £10,000 for two claims I couldn’t make. Imagine this: You get sick, & MY health insurance goes up because you touched me. That’s a scam, right? So why is no one talking about how car insurance screws us over? The system is broken. It’s a racket. And we’re all paying for it.

In the UK you get taxed on absolutely everything. Up to 45% income tax, which you never even see because the government takes it before it reaches you. Then another 10–12% for National Insurance (and no one really knows what that’s actually for). Then there’s Council Tax, another 10% of your wage money you’ve already been taxed on. Today is the new tax year & I’m leaving the U.K on April 6th & moving to Dubai
 As you may know I've been critical of the U.K since lockdown, & I’ve taken this decision after a lot of research (& many of my friends leaving)

I get taxed on what I earn. Then I get taxed on what I spend. Then they tax what I save. And even when I die - they still want a cut. So here’s a serious question: Where’s the value? Where’s the ROI on all these taxes I pay? Can you honestly say you’re getting your money’s worth?
