ALT A parody announcement: 'In response to trends in the club, as of 1st September 2026, RIT Esports will cease to sanction online communication. All esports related communication will be ceased (including all esports Discord servers), and shift to in-person communication only. Members will be able to use our esports room, Institute Hall 1100 to enjoy connecting with other gamers, scheduling with teammates, and playing official matches. In-game communication (comming) should be entirely analog, because you're all next to each other anyway. We believe this is an important step forward to improving physical socialization in the club. Note that deodorant and showering will become more strictly mandated, and our constitution will be updated to reflect this.'
