This tweet reflects lot of what’s wrong with the hate @narendramodi club. There was no BJP, not even Jan Singh, when the Sikh regiment was fighting Afghan Pathans. And yet @ambkcsingh seems to see shadows of BJP’s ‘jingoism’ in Kesari. This hatred blinds them to logic. Epic fail.
Stop it Rahul. Don’t abuse you being son of an honourable Brigadier. Bollywood shouldn’t turn a great last stand of Sikh/BritishArmy soldiers into Rambo nonsense. Stop pandering to BJP’s jingoism.

Watched IC-814. The film-maker claims the ISI was so out of the loop during the hijacking that agency’s officials weren’t even called to the celebrations by the Taliban and Al Qaeda after the hostages were freed. Given the well documented and pivotal role played by Pakistan’s ISI in planning and executing the hijack, can’t figure why the director is so keen on absolving the rogue spy agency. Whitewashing ISI’s role makes sense only if the series was produced by the ISI. That said, it’s probably better to ignore than to seek a ban on the series. The more publicity the film makers get, the better it is for their business.
